PDF is an acronym for Portable Document Format.

A file type developed by Adobe enabling users to print or view the file with the designed typeface and images.


Perl is an acronym for Practical Extraction and Reporting Language.

A programming language used to develop websites. Widely used in the early 90's.


A programming language to develop websites using inline scripting.


PNG is an acronym for Portable Network Graphics.

A graphic file format widely used in internet web sites.

POP is an acronym for Post Office Protocol.

A protocol delivering electronic mail from one computer to another.


PPC is an acronym for Pay Per Click.  PPC is a form of online advertising through Search Engines.  PPC ads appear on Search Engine results pages, typically on the left or the top.  An advertiser's PPC ads will appear depending on multiple factors, including the keywords bidded on, the bid price, the ad relevancy, etc.
